Calendar
View all your upcoming events in one place and subscribe to your Rhythmic calendar from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any app that supports iCal feeds.
Viewing Your Calendar
Navigate to Calendar from the sidebar. Your calendar shows all events you're participating in across every organization you belong to in Rhythmic.
Use the built-in toolbar to switch between Day, Week, and Month views. Navigate forward and backward using the arrow buttons, or click Today to jump back to the current date.
Filtering by Organization
If you belong to more than one organization, you'll see an organization filter above the calendar. Use it to select or deselect which organizations' events you want to see. Each organization's events are color-coded so you can easily tell them apart.
Event Details
Click on any event in the calendar to open a detail dialog. You'll see:
- Event title and type
- Date and time
- Location (if set)
- The organization the event belongs to
- Your role in the event
- For auditions, a link to the related application
Subscribing to Your Calendar
You can subscribe to your Rhythmic calendar so that your events automatically appear in your preferred calendar app. This means you won't need to manually add events — they'll stay in sync as new events are created or updated.
- Go to your Calendar page and click the Subscribe button in the top right.
- Click Generate Calendar URL to create your personal subscription link.
- Copy the URL using the copy button next to it.
- Add the URL to your calendar app (see instructions below).
Important
Your subscription URL is personal and private. Anyone with this link can see your events. Do not share it publicly. If you think your URL has been compromised, click Regenerate URL to create a new one — the old link will immediately stop working.
Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar on your computer.
- In the left sidebar, click the + next to "Other calendars" and select From URL.
- Paste your Rhythmic subscription URL and click Add calendar.
Google Calendar typically refreshes subscribed calendars every few hours. New events may take some time to appear.
Apple Calendar
- Open the Calendar app on your Mac.
- Go to File → New Calendar Subscription.
- Paste your Rhythmic subscription URL and click Subscribe.
- Choose your preferred refresh interval (we recommend Every hour) and click OK.
On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar and paste the URL.
Outlook
- Open Outlook Calendar on the web.
- Click Add calendar → Subscribe from web.
- Paste your Rhythmic subscription URL, give it a name, and click Import.
Managing Your Subscription
You can manage your calendar subscription at any time from the Subscribe dialog on the Calendar page:
- Regenerate URL — Creates a new subscription link and invalidates the old one. Use this if you think your link has been shared unintentionally. You'll need to update the URL in your calendar app after regenerating.
- Disconnect — Removes your subscription link entirely. Your calendar app will stop receiving updates. You can generate a new URL at any time to reconnect.
Tips
- Your subscription includes events from all your organizations. You can use the organization filter on the Calendar page to focus on specific orgs, but the subscription feed always includes everything.
- Calendar apps check for updates on their own schedule. Google Calendar refreshes roughly every 12-24 hours. Apple Calendar lets you choose the refresh interval.
- If you stop seeing updates, check that your subscription URL is still active by opening the Subscribe dialog. If you've disconnected, you'll need to generate a new URL and add it to your calendar app again.
